Nine YSU scientists elected associate members of National Academy of Sciences of Armenia

Under the current charter of NAS RA, the academy's membership comprises academicians and associate members. Associate members are elected through a competitive process, and the academic title is conferred for life. A scientist who is a citizen of the Republic of Armenia and meets at least the requirements established for the position of leading researcher is eligible for election as an associate member.

YSU representatives were elected in physics, biological sciences, chemistry, mathematics and computer science, as well as artificial intelligence.
