On April 20, the YSU Psychology Research Center hosted a scientific seminar titled "Integrated Approach to Career Guidance: Development of a Psychodiagnostic Package."
Junior researchers at the center, Hayk Abovyan and Seda Papoyan, presented a digital model of a standardized system aimed at assessing professional orientation, which will enable prospective students to independently complete the main stages of the process.
Career guidance is a structured process aimed at supporting individuals in making career choices that correspond to their interests, skills, and personal characteristics. The platform will be based on recognized psychodiagnostic methodologies, as well as a developed system of pictograms. The analysis of results is planned to be carried out using combined algorithms. The project has already undergone pilot testing and is intended to increase the accessibility and effectiveness of career guidance, while also serving as an important step in the development of the university's educational services.
The scientific seminar concluded with active discussions. During the discussion, Doctor of Psychology, Professor Hrant Avanesyan, Doctor of Psychology Arsen Lokyan, PhD in Psychology, Professor Varduhi Papoyan, and others contributed with questions and scientific proposals.
