From December 8 to 10, 2025, in YSU Academic Council Session Hall, an international conference titled "Genocide: Memory, Recognition, Prevention" will be held under the initiative of the Institute for Armenian Studies and the Center for Human Rights and Genocide Studies NGO.
More than 50 leading experts, scholars, and specialists from Germany, France, Rwanda, Burundi, the United States, Israel, Russia, Sweden, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Argentina will participate.
Its purpose is to foster dialogue, exchange best practices, and develop innovative strategies aimed at combating genocide and mass atrocities.
The working languages of the conference are Armenian and English.
