Creativity and Cooperation on a Unified Platform: "Let’s Compete"

To mark its 31st anniversary, YSU Student Council organized the "Let’s Compete" inter-university championship from April 1 to 14. The event aimed to foster student-centered, collaborative, and creative engagement among Armenian universities by providing a shared platform for competition and connection.
Over the course of two weeks, students from various higher education institutions participated in competitions across diverse categories, including painting, football, team chess, the intellectual quiz "What? Where? When?", student stand-up comedy, a knowledge battle, and a music-and-dance musical performance. The championship served as an opportunity for students to demonstrate their creative, athletic, and intellectual abilities.

The event concluded on April 14, coinciding with the 31st anniversary of YSU Student Council. The final ceremony was attended by representatives from the participating universities, YSU staff, and partner organizations. Awards were presented to the top performers in each of the seven categories.
The winning institutions were Yerevan State Medical University named after Mkhitar Heratsi, National Agrarian University of Armenia, and National Polytechnic University of Armenia.
YSU Student Council extends its sincere gratitude to all partner organizations and participating universities for joining the initiative, upholding the spirit of healthy competition, and contributing to the strengthening of Armenia’s student community. "Let’s Compete" not only provided a space for contest but also laid the groundwork for sustained collaboration among university students across the country.
Festive Anniversary Concert
Following the awards ceremony, a celebratory concert was held to commemorate the Student Council’s 31 years of service. Despite rainy weather, the atmosphere remained spirited, energized by performances from popular Armenian artists including singer Srbuk, and the bands Hayk Apricota and Arni Rock.
The event reaffirmed YSU Student Council’s enduring mission: to protect student rights and interests, promote cooperation and civic engagement, and uphold national and patriotic values.
