Recently, under the initiative of the YSU Student Council's Educational and Scientific Committee, trial unified examinations were organized for high school students preparing for university admission.
The initiative aimed to replicate the actual process of the national entrance examinations, creating an environment as close as possible to the real experience for prospective applicants.
The examinations were conducted over three days, allowing students to participate in the following subjects:
Mathematics
English
Armenian Language and Literature
Chemistry
Biology
Armenian History
Russian Language
A total of 3,550 applicants took part in the exams for these seven subjects.
Participants had the opportunity not only to test their knowledge and skills and overcome pre-exam anxiety but also to familiarize themselves with examination procedures, formats, time limits, and assessment criteria.
The program was extensive in both content and scale, supported by advanced technical and organizational measures. Modern software tools and methods were employed to manage the examination process, and approximately 200 YSU volunteer students were involved across various working groups.
This initiative aimed to promote a responsible approach to education while also establishing a reliable bridge between prospective students and Yerevan State University.
