Frequently Asked Questions Regarding Business Trips
To arrange a business trip, the employee is obliged to submit to the YSU International Cooperation Office (hereinafter referred to as the "Office") the following documents:
An application addressed to the rector (Appendix 1),
A copy of the official invitation,
For academic staff, a report on the fulfillment of teaching workload (Appendix 2).
The documents must be submitted at least 5 working days before the planned date of departure.
YSU employees may travel abroad for the following periods:
For researchers: up to 1 year with salary maintained,
For academic staff with teaching responsibilities in the given semester: up to 15 days with salary maintained,
For academic staff without teaching responsibilities in the given semester: up to 1 academic semester without salary,
For other employees: up to 1 month with salary maintained. After the expiration of this period, with the employer's consent, the employee may be granted unpaid leave of up to 60 days per year,
For externally affiliated staff: when traveling abroad, leave must be formally arranged.
The employee is obliged to personally submit a report to the Office regarding the work performed during the business trip (Appendix 3) within 3 working days after returning from the trip. The report must be approved by the head of the relevant unit. Failure to submit the report within the prescribed deadline may result in disciplinary action against the employee.
If, for any reason, the employee does not undertake the business trip, they are obliged to inform the Office by the next working day and return any funds received from YSU to the Accounting Department (if applicable).

Frequently Asked Questions Regarding the Provision of Certificates
To obtain a certificate in a foreign language regarding their place of study or work, students and faculty members must apply via the electronic platform e-request.ysu.am.
After submitting a request through e-request.ysu.am, the certificates will be translated into a foreign language, signed, and stamped within 2 working days. Applicants can track the status of their certificate using the control code, and once it is marked as "Completed", they may collect it from the Department of International Relations.
If the certificate is planned to be submitted to an embassy, it is advisable to specify the embassy. If the place of submission is unknown, it should be indicated as 'To Whom It May Concern'.
Additional information, signed by the relevant unit head, should be submitted to the Department of International Relations either in paper form or via the YSU Mulberry document circulation system.

Frequently Asked Questions Regarding the Provision of Academic Transcripts
The original Armenian academic transcript, duly signed and stamped, must be obtained from the relevant faculty and submitted in paper form to the Department of International Relations. Translation takes 5–7 working days, with a fee of 7,000 Armenian drams for the translation and 1,500 Armenian drams per page for certification.

The language proficiency certificate is issued by the Department of International Relations only to students who have completed the relevant foreign language as a graded subject at YSU. The YSU Grants Coordination Department supports the university's students, as well as academic and administrative staff members, in participating in international grant programs and ensures the effective implementation of these programs.
The Grants Coordination Department is responsible for coordinating international grant programs at YSU, supporting applicants and beneficiaries, and ensuring the effective implementation of ongoing and new projects.
