The AI Conf Armenia 2026 dedicated to artificial intelligence was held at Yerevan State University. Within the framework of the event, the IT Educational and Research Center of YSU was represented with a dedicated booth, presenting its artificial intelligence–focused educational programs and initiatives.
The conference aimed to bring together specialists, researchers, lecturers, and students in the field of artificial intelligence to discuss trends in AI technology development, educational and research opportunities, as well as prospects for cooperation in the sector.
The event also sought to encourage student engagement in artificial intelligence and data science, and to present the technological resources and initiatives available in Armenia.
The conference was attended by leading experts and representatives of organizations, who delivered presentations and participated in panel discussions addressing applications of artificial intelligence, changes in education and the labor market, and future development prospects of AI technologies. Participants included university representatives, specialists from technology companies, young researchers, and students interested in the field.
The event was organized through cooperation between Yerevan State University and technological and academic institutions, including Nvidia, Krisp, YerevaNN, and the Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises. The conference is considered one of the largest events dedicated to artificial intelligence in Armenia.
Within the framework of the conference, the IT Educational and Research Center was represented with a dedicated booth, where visitors received brochures about the center's AI courses. The booth displayed informational materials, presentation tools from the center, and a dedicated question-and-suggestion box, where participants could leave their questions and proposals.
The center's booth was visited by students from various faculties, lecturers, and participants interested in the field. Visitors were introduced to the center's AI educational programs, and discussions were held on the importance of skills development in the field and potential future collaboration opportunities.
The IT Educational and Research Center will continue to develop its educational programs in artificial intelligence, taking into account the rapid development of the field and the changing demands of the labor market, thereby contributing to the enhancement of students' and professionals' competitiveness.
