Join us at the 3rd International Conference on "The Transformative Economy: Green Transition, Institutional Quality and Value Creation", which will be held on October 7-9, 2026 in the historic city of Yerevan, Armenia. 

The conference is organized within the cooperation between the Yerevan State University (YSU), Faculty of Economics and Management, in collaboration with the The Regional Science Academy (TRSA). 
The goal of the conference is to provide a platform for the dissemination of innovative research findings, promoting cooperation between researchers, practitioners and policymakers from diverse institutions worldwide. Economies need structural transformations due to the implementation of the global “green” agenda, the tightening of climate policies, as well as the imperative of modernizing governance models. The goal is to explore the role of institutional reforms, and how structural transformations, “green” technologies and sustainable development principles can be effectively integrated into national and regional development policies and ensure a more competitive, inclusive and resilient economic environment by rethinking the mechanisms of value creation.

Key objectives of the conference:

Economic justification of green transitions: Analyze low-carbon and climate-resilient economic development models, assess the impact of the formation of “green” economy’s structure, biodiversity strategies, estimate the effects of the introduction of circular economy on the process of ensuring sustainable and high-quality economic growth, development, competitiveness and spatial balance. 

Sustainable Ecosystem Management and Nature-Based Solutions: Examine the role of sustainable ecosystem management and nature-based solutions in addressing environmental and socio-economic challenges by enhancing ecosystem resilience, supporting climate change mitigation and promoting inclusive and long-term economic development through the integration of environmental, institutional, and social dimensions.

Improving the quality of institutions and systemic modernization: Explore digitalized public services, data-driven management processes and the tools for improving the mechanisms of institutional activity, as well as the role of the institutional systems’ modernization in the process of macroeconomic stability and economic development.

Value creation models and inclusive growth: Study the influence of the value creation models on inclusive economic growth, identify productivity constraints and causes of deepening social and territorial inequalities, combining the results of the analysis for interaction of socio-economic, environmental and institutional factors.

Promotion of interdisciplinary cooperation: Encourage collaborative relationships between the scientific community, experts, policymakers, and sector specialists to identify global and regional challenges and opportunities for their effective management.
