The Information Technology Education and Research Center announces admission to the Master's Programme in Information Systems Development. The programme is a long-established academic programme designed to meet the contemporary requirements of the information technology sector. It has been developed in accordance with the State Educational Standard for the specialty "Information Technologies."

The Information Systems Development programme is aligned with the Master's Programme in Fundamental Informatics and Information Technologies offered by Lomonosov Moscow State University, the Theory and Technology of Programming specialization at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, the Computer Science programme at Stanford University, and the Master's Programme in Information Systems at Kiel University (Germany).

The three applicants who achieve the highest examination scores are eligible to study free of charge.
Students who are employed in their field of specialization are eligible for tuition reimbursement through the personal income tax refund mechanism in accordance with the Government Decision "On Establishing the Procedure for Refunding Personal Income Tax to Employed Individuals for the Reimbursement of Tuition Fees."
Applicants who have achieved a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of above 19.0 during their Bachelor's studies are admitted to the tuition-free track of the Information Technology Education and Research Center's Master's programmes without entrance examinations.
The programme is open to applicants holding a Bachelor's degree in a related field of study.

Admission to the Information Technology Education and Research Center is conducted in accordance with the Regulations on Admission to Master's Programmes of Yerevan State University.

The Information Technology Education and Research Center provides individual consultations for applicants to its Master's programmes. Applicants who wish to obtain more detailed information about the Master's programmes offered by the Center and receive guidance in selecting the most appropriate specialisation are encouraged to consult the Center's academic advisors.

First Round

Applications for the first round of Master's admissions will be accepted from 1 June to 26 June of the current year, until 18:00, through the online admission system available at admission.ysu.am.

The first-round entrance examinations will be held on 1 July of the current year at 10:00.

Applicants admitted to the tuition-paying track must pay at least 25% of the first-semester tuition fee for the 2026–2027 academic year by 17 July of the current year.

Tuition-free places are allocated during the first round.

Second Round

Applications for the second round of Master's admissions will be accepted from 6 July to 17 August of the current year, until 18:00, through the online admission system available at admission.ysu.am.

The second-round entrance examinations will be held on 25 August of the current year.

Applicants admitted to the tuition-paying track must pay at least 25% of the first-semester tuition fee for the 2026–2027 academic year by 29 August of the current year.

Required Documents

Completed Master's admission application form.
Original diploma of higher education and academic transcript.
In the case of a diploma issued by a foreign higher education institution, a certificate of diploma equivalency issued by the National Information Center for Academic Recognition and Mobility.
One photograph (3 × 4 cm).
Original military service record book (if applicable), including pages 1–4 and 18–19.
Original passport or national identification card.
Receipt confirming payment of the admission service fee.

1. Computer Architecture and Operating Systems

Data representation and instruction processing in Intel x86 processors.
Procedure calls, interrupts, and exception handling in Intel x86 processors.
Memory organization in protected mode.
Multitasking mechanisms, processes, and threads.
Input and output organization: ports, instructions, and interrupts.

2. Object-Oriented Programming

Object-oriented programming: classes and objects, data and operations, constructors and destructors.
The concept of encapsulation: private, public, and protected class members; static members; constant functions; examples.
The concept of inheritance: examples and types of inheritance.
The concept of polymorphism: virtual and pure virtual functions; examples of their use.
Recursive programming: implementation of recursion; examples.

3. Data Structures and Algorithms

Singly linked and doubly linked lists: search, insertion, and deletion operations; examples of use.
Stacks: applications; sequential and linked implementations.
Queues: applications; sequential and linked implementations.
Priority queues: applications and implementation methods.
Binary search trees: search and insertion operations.
