On May 14, the YSU Faculty of European Languages and Communication hosted a scientific seminar, led by Associate Professor and Candidate of Philological Sciences Siranush Ghaltakhchyan from the English Chair of Cross-Cultural Communication, who delivered a presentation titled "Framing and Reframing as NLP Techniques in Business Communication."
During her presentation, Associate Professor Siranush Ghaltakhchyan emphasized that in modern business communication every word can influence the success of a deal, customer response, team productivity, and morale. She noted that NLP skills are therefore of critical importance, as they foster flexible thinking and help prevent conflicts by presenting factual information from a more advantageous perspective.
Using clear and practical examples, she demonstrated that the NLP techniques of framing and reframing are powerful tools that enable individuals to reinterpret situations and consciously reshape mental frameworks. According to the speaker, the application of these techniques can fundamentally improve the effectiveness of business communication in negotiations, brand advertising campaigns, and interactions with clients.
The audience listened to the presentation with great interest and actively participated in the discussion, noting that such skills are highly applicable both in interpersonal relations and business communication.
