Accompanied by the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia, Anna Vardapetyan, and YSU Rector Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, members of the YSU Board of Trustees visited the Faculty of Geography and Geology at Yerevan State University.
Sargis Kelyan, Dean of the YSU Faculty of Geography and Geology, presented to the board members the faculty's educational innovations, including the "GeoLab: Environment of the Future" center and the interactive classroom named after Gagik Karapetyan.
During the visit, the faculty's development programs and initiatives aimed at improving the educational environment were also discussed.
The board members were introduced to laboratories equipped with modern digital devices, providing students with opportunities to conduct research and gain hands-on experience through practical and laboratory exercises. This hands-on experience will help students acquire the essential skills required for geological research conducted under field and laboratory conditions.
