As a result of cooperation between the Faculty of Geography and Geology of Yerevan State University and the Kapan Mining and Processing Plant, the Young Geologist School has been established. The program will launch on March 6 at 15:00.
The Young Geologist School aims to deepen the knowledge of students in grades 9-12 in the field of geology by providing both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. The school is designed to create an engaging, educational and hands-on platform for young geologists to explore the environment, discover the laws of nature, develop research thinking and support students in their career orientation.
The program will run for 11 weeks, with one two-hour session held each week, for a total of 44 hours.
