On June 10, a delegation from the Faculty of Mass Media Communication at the University of St. Cyril and Methodius in Slovakia visited the Faculty of Journalism at Yerevan State University. The delegation included Zora Hudíková, Head of the Department of Artistic Communication, and Professor Hana Pravdova, Head of the Department of Language Communication.
The delegation was received by Naghash Martirosyan, Dean of the Faculty of Journalism. Also present at the meeting were Head of the Chair of Print and Broadcast Media Taron Danielyan, Dean’s Assistant Saten Grigoryan, and Chief Editor of Journalist.am Sahakanush Petrosyan.
N. Martirosyan presented the educational programs offered by the faculty, the available opportunities, and the main areas of collaboration with the media. The guests noted many commonalities in the academic sector and proposed potential avenues for cooperation, prioritizing the development of a joint master’s degree program.
Following the meeting, the delegation toured the faculty’s television and radio studios, as well as the computer laboratories.
