Seven students from YSU Faculty of Russian Philology, accompanied by Professor Lianna Matevosyan, participated in a two-week summer school organized in Krasnoyarsk, Russia.
During the program, the students had the opportunity to gain practical experience at one of Russia’s top 15 universities, the Siberian Federal University. As part of the summer school, participants not only attended engaging lectures and participated in interactive seminars but also explored a new cultural environment, acquiring new knowledge and experience.
Throughout the two-week program, students improved their Russian language skills in an immersive linguistic environment, enhancing both their oral and written communication skills.
"Alongside our professional development, we came back to Armenia with invaluable experience, beautiful memories, and inspiration for our future studies and professional path," emphasized fourth-year student Mane Mkrtchyan.
Fourth-year student Milena Ghandilyan also highlighted: "The acquaintances we made with students from various countries turned into sincere friendships, which, I am convinced, will continue even after the summer school."
"The two-week summer school became a period of new friendships, new skills, and wonderful memories for us. I am convinced that such programs are not only platforms for gaining new knowledge but also excellent opportunities for experience exchange," noted fourth-year student Lia Grigoryan.
Such summer schools provide future specialists with the opportunity not only to improve their skills but also to establish new academic and professional connections with representatives from their field.
