A ceremonial event honoring Armenian public figures and educators was held at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Armenia, recognizing their significant contributions to the development of cultural and humanitarian ties between Russia and Armenia.
In his opening remarks, Sergei Kopyrkin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Armenia, noted that each award represents a deep expression of gratitude to those who have dedicated their work to humanitarian ideals, strengthening cultural dialogue between the two countries, and preserving their shared historical memory.
Lianna Matevosyan, Professor at the Faculty of Russian Philology at Yerevan State University and Doctor of Philological Sciences, was awarded a letter of appreciation from the president of the Russian Federation for her outstanding contributions to the development of cultural and humanitarian relations between Russia and Armenia.
The recognition of her academic and pedagogical work underscores the significance of her contributions to Russian studies, intercultural communication, and humanitarian cooperation.
