The YSU Faculty of Sociology hosted globally renown PR expert, businessman, journalist, and diplomat Maxim Behar as part of the university's "Public Relations" bachelor's program.
Behar serves as chairman of the board of directors of the World Communication Forum Association in Davos and is a former president of ICCO, the world's largest PR organization. He is also a graduate of the John F. Kennedy School of Government and the founder and CEO of M3 Communication Group. His book, The Global PR Revolution, was recognized by BookAuthority as one of the top 10 PR books of all time.
The meeting was organized at the initiative of Nvard Melkonyan, co-founder of Spring PR, associate professor at YSU, and head of the university's "Public Relations" bachelor's and master's programs, together with Tatevik Simonyan, board member of the International Public Relations Association and the World Communication Forum Association.
During the session, Behar shared his years of experience, accumulated knowledge, practical advice, and insights into the PR profession.
PR tells the truth to people in a language they understand. Speed, simplicity, and self-confidence — this is the formula for success for a PR professional.
The meeting concluded with a question-and-answer session, giving students the opportunity to raise questions and engage directly with the global PR leader.
