On January 21, 2026, at 13։00, the YSU Faculty of Sociology will host its 1st methodological seminar.
The speakers of the methodological seminar are:
Felix Krawatzek – Doctor of Political Science (University of Oxford), Senior Researcher at the Center for East European and International Studies (ZOiS) in Berlin, Head of the Youth and Intergenerational Change project, and Principal Investigator of the research initiative Moving Russia(ns): Intergenerational Transmission of Memories Abroad and at Home (MoveMeRU).
Hakob Matevosyan – Doctor of Sociology (University of Leipzig). His research focuses on migration, diaspora, and transnationalism. His studies examine the role of memory and historical narratives in the formation of generations, as well as issues related to diaspora identities, origin, and power relations within and between generations. He is a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for East European and International Studies (ZOiS).
