The YSU Faculty of Economics and Management hosted a delegation from the Strategic Development Department of the Interstate Bank, which introduced members of the university community to youth programs in fintech and payment technologies in Russia.
The delegation included Lyubov Khomyakova, Director of the Strategic Development Department; Natalia Itskovich, Director of the Fintech Hub at the Central Bank of Russia; and Evgeny Solovyov, Deputy Director of the Innovation Department at the National Payment Card System (NSPK).
Welcoming the guests, Associate Professor Karlen Khachatryan, Dean of the YSU Faculty of Economics and Management, highlighted the importance of providing students with opportunities for direct interaction with representatives of organizations working in the sector.
Lyubov Khomyakova also welcomed the participants, emphasizing the importance of the Interstate Bank's cooperation with YSU, as well as the need to further develop and deepen international cooperation.
Natalia Itskovich and Evgeny Solovyov introduced students to modern educational and professional opportunities available to young people in fintech and payment technologies. In particular, they presented several youth-focused programs, including an initiative of the Fintech Hub, "365," "Innovations in Fintech: Theory and Practice," a tracker training program, and the Youth Forum on Payment Technologies. They also discussed the content of these programs, opportunities for young people's professional development and key areas of innovation in the sector.
The meeting also addressed YSU students' experience of participating in the 2026 Youth Forum on Payment Technologies. Gayane Davtyan, a student at the YSU Faculty of Economics and Management and a participant in the final stage of the forum, shared her experience.
During the meeting, students also raised questions of interest to them, leading to a discussion with the guests. The students had the opportunity to interact directly with representatives of the sector and learn about educational and professional development opportunities in fintech and payment technologies.
The meeting was attended by the leadership of the YSU Faculty of Economics and Management, members of the academic staff and students from different years of study.
