The YSU Faculty of Economics and Management celebrated the start of the 2024-2025 academic year.
In the hall of the Black Building (6th building) at Yerevan State University, the welcoming ceremony for freshmen took place.
The event began with the playing of the Yerevan State University anthem. Associate Professor Karlen Khachatryan, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management, addressed the attendees with a congratulatory message.
"Dear students, the Faculty of Economics and Management opens its doors to students for the 90th time. With nine decades of experience, our faculty remains both seasoned and innovative, offering education that meets all international standards.

The Dean also highlighted that the teaching staff at the YSU Faculty of Economics and Management comprises leading specialists in the field. This includes professors, doctors of science, and distinguished lecturers who have received state awards and honorary titles for their contributions to the profession. The staff also includes specialists from Armenian state administration, finance and banking sectors, along with prominent figures from leading organizations, public figures, and renowned scientists.
Associate Professors and Deputy Deans Vardan Aleksanyan and Narine Mirzoyan, along with the heads of chairs, also welcomed the freshmen. They encouraged the students to study diligently and not to be afraid to face challenges.
Vergine Danielyan, President of the Student Council of the YSU Faculty of Economics and Management, also extended warm congratulations to the students.
