As part of the close cooperation established between YSU Faculty of Economics and Management and the Central Bank of Armenia, on April 29 of this year, students from various educational programs of the faculty visited the Central Bank's Educational and Research Center in Dilijan. The visit aimed to provide students with an opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge in practice, as well as to raise awareness of the professional opportunities in the field. During the visit, the students met with Hayk Avetisyan, Head of the Macroeprudential Policy Department of the Central Bank of Armenia, and participated in an interactive discussion.

During the meeting, Hayk Avetisyan presented the main functions, priorities, and the tools ensuring the implementation of the Central Bank’s activities. Discussions were also held regarding the principles of monetary policy and inflation management.
The students demonstrated high engagement and interest, particularly during the interactive Q&A session. They actively participated in the substantive and constructive discussion, posing important questions about sectoral developments and expressing their viewpoints.

The students also visited the Central Bank’s Money Museum, where they were introduced to unique exhibits of currency circulated in Armenia throughout various historical periods, learned about the security features of Armenian currency—both banknotes and coins—and explored the cultural and economic significance of money.
The faculty often organizes such visits to promote the development of students' professional knowledge and skills. These types of meetings are crucial for revealing students' professional potential and shaping an educational environment that aligns with the demands of the labor market.
The Student Scientific Society (SSS) of the Faculty of Economics and Management was also involved in organizing the visit.
