On October 14, the YSU Faculty of Law hosted an event in its courtroom as part of a professional knowledge-sharing program introduced at Armenia's Ministry of Justice. The event provided a forum for discussion and exchange of experience between representatives of the academic community and the government agency.
In his opening remarks, Dean of the YSU Faculty of Law Harutyun Khachikyan expressed his appreciation for the initiative of the Ministry of Justice, particularly its Secretary General Hamlet Harutyunyan.
Khachikyan emphasized that law plays a central role in regulating all areas of public life. He noted that most legal professionals working across these sectors are graduates of the YSU Faculty of Law, whose work contributes to the effective performance of various functions in their respective fields.
He also highlighted YSU's ongoing cooperation with its alumni, both in delivering educational programs and in other areas. According to Khachikyan, meetings of this kind demonstrate the strong ties between the university and its graduates and their continued collaboration.
Secretary General of the Ministry of Justice Hamlet Harutyunyan stressed the importance of exchanging professional knowledge and practical experience and strengthening cooperation between government bodies and the academic community to address sector-specific challenges and develop professional competencies.
Similar meetings will continue under the program, expanding opportunities for cooperation between educational institutions and government bodies.
