The Faculty of Law at Yerevan State University celebrated the graduation of 191 students in the 2024–2025 academic year, including 31 students who graduated with honors. Equipped with the knowledge and professional skills, these graduates are now ready to contribute to the legislative, executive, and judicial systems, as well as the legal sector of the private sphere—thus playing a role in the development of their homeland and state.

Dean of the Faculty, Harutyun Khachikyan, addressed the graduates and their families, highlighting that the graduates have completed one of the most important phases of their lives and received a higher education that meets international academic standards. He emphasized that the legal profession demands continuous development in education, science, and practice—an aim YSU pursues through curriculum modernization and international cooperation.
The dean expressed confidence that many of the bachelor’s graduates would continue their education in master’s programs, noting a record-high number of applications to the master’s program this year.
"Our graduates' achievements are evident and ongoing. Amid these challenging times, it is you who will shape the future. The future is in your hands—guided by free thinking, new worldviews, a sense of responsibility, readiness to act, the capacity to transform your environment, and the strength to overcome difficulties and crises. Believe in yourselves, in your abilities, and in your potential," said the dean, addressing the graduates.

"Becoming a graduate marks not only the completion of your academic program but also the beginning of a new phase of collaboration with the university. It is a new chapter in your professional journey. From now on, you are not just alumni—you are partners of the university. This partnership is ongoing," he added.
Graduates Elida Grigoryan, Sose Stepanyan, Manana Davtyan, Misha Shakhtanyan, and Mkrtich Mkrtchyan also spoke, expressing their gratitude to the faculty and administrative staff for their dedication and commitment to delivering high-quality legal education. They emphasized the significance of the professional knowledge and skills they had acquired, the development of critical thinking, the value of the academic environment, new friendships, and the experiences gained throughout their studies.

The parents of the graduates also extended their appreciation to the faculty members, underscoring YSU’s vital role in providing quality education and its ongoing efforts to improve and modernize the academic environment. They praised the exceptional professional and human qualities of the Law Faculty’s lecturers, whose dedication and humanitarian mission have guided their children toward becoming well-prepared legal professionals and future upholders of the rule of law.
