From October 6 to November 6 of this year, Kristine Aleksanyan, PhD in Law and Assistant at the Chair of Constitutional Law of the YSU Faculty of Law, took part in the Scholarship Programme for Young Researchers from the European Neighborhood, implemented by the Coimbra Group and hosted by the University of Graz (Austria).
Within the framework of the program, Aleksanyan conducted a research project titled "Digitalization in Public Law". Her study focused on the experience of the European Union and Austria in the field of digitalization, with particular emphasis on automated decision-making and the use of artificial intelligence.
Special attention was devoted to the specific features of existing legal regulations and their practical implementation, judicial practice, as well as the theoretical and practical challenges emerging within the framework of administrative law.
Comparative analyses of European countries' legal approaches to digitalization, along with current theoretical perspectives, provide significant opportunities for further scholarly research and development in this area.
