At the joint initiative of the Student Scientific Society of the YSU Faculty of Law and the Chair of Civil Law, a moot court was held within the framework of the "Corporate Law" course.
The claimant was a shareholder of a closed joint-stock company who had been effectively excluded from the company's management and, in order to ensure the proper exercise of his rights, filed a claim against the company seeking to oblige it to provide information on the activities of the legal entity.
Having assessed the evidence and facts presented in the case, and guided by the reasoning of the relevant decision of the Court of Cassation, the judge, on the basis of the legal regulations of the Republic of Armenia, announced in an open court session.
According to the organizer of the moot court, lecturer, Candidate of Legal Sciences R. Petrosyan, this is one of the most effective methods for assessing students' acquired theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
