On March 17, the diploma award ceremony for 65 graduates (39 of whom graduated with honors) from five master's programs of the Faculty of Law took place at the YSU Balian Hall. These graduates are now prepared to join the ranks of legal professionals across Armenia's legislative, executive, and judicial systems, as well as the private sector, contributing to the country's prosperity.
The ceremony was hosted by graduate Iskuhi Zakaryan. In her address, she highlighted the significance of the day, noting that over the past six years, the students navigated various challenges and successes alongside their professors, who played a vital role in their development as legal experts.
Harutyun Khachikyan, Dean of the Faculty of Law, welcomed and congratulated the graduates on achieving the high title of lawyer. He remarked that while every beginning has an end, this milestone marks a continued partnership with the alma mater—a leading institution with international prestige in legal education where the graduates spent their best years of study.
"The university and the faculty have provided you with an education that meets the challenges of our time, and we are confident you will apply this during your professional careers. In this third decade of the 21st century, you are the ones who will shape the country's future by overcoming its most difficult trials," said Harutyun Khachikyan.
Graduates Maya Nadoyan and Gagik Baghdasaryan expressed their gratitude and high appreciation for the contribution and support of the YSU Faculty of Law academic staff in their development as both professionals and individuals.
