On April 8, within the framework of the partnership between Yerevan State University and the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO), the YSU Faculty of Law hosted Nikita Molchakov, Dean of the International Law School at MGIMO, and Mikhail Vozhdaev, Counselor and Representative of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation in Armenia.
Dean of the YSU Faculty of Law Harutyun Khachikyan and Head of the Chair of European and International Law Artak Asatryan welcomed the guests, emphasizing the importance of such visits, including in the context of further cooperation. Molchakov presented the history of the International Law School at MGIMO, its educational programs, and development prospects. The guests were also introduced to the activities of the YSU Faculty of Law, its educational programs, and established traditions. The meeting took place in a warm and cordial atmosphere.
Nikita Molchakov also delivered a lecture for YSU law students titled "The Professional Profile of a Successful Lawyer: Modern Requirements and Future Challenges". He discussed emerging perceptions of legal success in a rapidly changing world, as well as the role of artificial intelligence in the current development of legal practice. The lecture was followed by an active discussion, during which the speaker answered students' questions. Participants thanked Molchakov for the insightful lecture and for offering a fresh perspective on the legal profession.
