The YSU Faculty of Law team participated in the DLA Piper Investment Arbitration Pre-Moot held in Rome, followed by the main rounds of the Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot Court.
The team took part in the Pre-Moot in Rome on June 4 and 5, 2026. YSU was represented by fourth-year Faculty of Law students Ani Chilingaryan and Siranush Poghosyan, who competed against teams from various countries, demonstrating their oral advocacy and arbitration skills while preparing for the main stage of the competition.
The team then participated in the international Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot Court, held from June 9 to 12, 2026. During the competition, Ani Chilingaryan and Siranush Poghosyan competed against teams from leading international universities, including the University of Chicago, the University of Zurich and Université Paris Cité.
Participation in the international competition allowed the team members to gain valuable experience, improve their professional skills and learn about current approaches and practices in international investment arbitration.
