The role of the International Criminal Court in the context of the geopolitical and legal challenges of the 21st century was also addressed. In addition, participants discussed the relationship between sovereignty, human rights and the use of force; the protection of the right to life in light of the case law of the European Court of Human Rights; the legal foundations and modern challenges of the formation of state borders; the impact of military operations on international investment treaties; and international legal regulations governing bilateral and multilateral military-political alliances.
At the end of the school, participants were awarded diplomas certifying their active involvement and the work carried out within the framework of the program.
