A graduation ceremony was held for bachelor's degree graduates of the YSU Faculty of Law, marking the completion of an important stage in their university education and the beginning of a new professional journey.
Having successfully completed their studies, the graduates are ready to apply the extensive knowledge and professional skills they have acquired in the legislative, executive and judicial branches, as well as in the private sector, for the benefit of the Republic of Armenia.
Welcoming the graduates and their parents, Faculty Dean Harutyun Khachikyan highlighted the importance of the legal profession in all areas of public life.
Addressing the graduates, he said: "You have completed one of the best stages of your lives and received higher legal education at a prestigious and leading university with a long history, which provides legal education in line with international qualification standards and has modernised its academic programs to reflect the priorities of the contemporary world. Your achievements are evident and will continue.
In these challenging circumstances, you are the ones who will shape the future. It is in your hands, through independent thinking, new perspectives, a sense of responsibility and readiness to act, the ability to transform your environment, and the capacity to overcome difficulties and crises. Believe in yourselves, your abilities and your strength. By becoming graduates, you are entering a new stage of cooperation with the university. I wish you every success on your journey, dear graduates. We are confident that success will accompany you."
The dean added that the legal profession, which regulates relations across all areas of public life, is a constantly evolving field aligned with international standards and has now also become a discipline of the digital environment.
Graduates Ani Chilingaryan, Aramayis Grigoryan and Anna Grigoryan expressed their gratitude to their alma mater, the Faculty of Law and its academic staff for providing students with knowledge that meets international standards. They noted that their studies had helped them develop and consolidate sound knowledge and essential values, including loyalty to their profession and adherence to professional and human principles.
In the 2025-2026 academic year, the Faculty of Law graduated 178 students, 35 of whom received diplomas with honours. The graduates said that during their studies they had acquired extensive knowledge, professional skills and strong personal qualities.
