Students from the YSU Faculty of Chemistry visited Saranist, a glass container manufacturer, and the Ararat gold recovery plant on October 13 and 15.
During their visit to Saranist, the students learned about the glass container manufacturing process, its main stages and the technologies used. The visit helped them learn details about glass production and how industrial operations are organized.
At the Ararat gold recovery plant, the students explored the gold production industry, including the processes involved in ore processing and the recovery of valuable components. The visit provided practical insight into how chemical processes and modern technologies are applied in industrial production.
Such educational visits help students expand their professional knowledge, strengthen the link between theory and practice, and gain a more comprehensive understanding of how industrial enterprises operate.
