On September 19, the Faculty of Chemistry at Yerevan State University hosted Associate Professor Alessandro Latini from the Department of Physical Chemistry at Sapienza University of Rome. The visit aimed to establish professional connections with YSU Chemistry Faculty and explore potential exchange programs between the two universities.
During the visit, Alessandro Latini presented the achievements of the RimLab research group at the Sapienza University in the field of hybrid halide and chalcogenide perovskites. In his plenary lecture and subsequent thematic discussion, the Italian colleague answered questions from YSU Chemistry Faculty researchers and students, sharing his extensive professional experience and knowledge.
Latini also toured the faculty’s laboratory facilities and became acquainted with ongoing research activities. Future opportunities for joint projects were discussed. The visiting scholar highly praised the technical equipment of the faculty’s laboratories and the quality of the scientific research being conducted.
Such meetings provide valuable opportunities to expand collaborative ties, conduct joint research, and organize conferences—activities that have always held a special place in the Faculty of Chemistry’s work.
