From October 20 to 24, the Faculty of Chemistry at Yerevan State University hosted Professor Nuno Gama, Doctor of Chemical Engineering from the University of Aveiro, Portugal.
During his visit, Professor Gama met with faculty members and students, sharing his expertise in materials science and innovative research projects. He delivered two engaging and topical lectures titled "Plastics: A Path Toward a Brighter Future" and "Building a Sustainable Future: Bridging Industry and Academia".
In addition to the lectures, Professor Gama toured the faculty’s research laboratories, familiarized himself with the material and technical base, ongoing research projects, and the broader scientific potential of YSU.
The visit marked an important step toward establishing scientific collaboration and enhancing international cooperation between YSU Faculty of Chemistry and the University of Aveiro.
