As part of the Armenian Higher Education and Science Committee's "Research Support Program for Young Scientists–2025", Hayk Petrosyan, researcher at the Inorganic Chemistry Laboratory of the YSU Research Center of Chemistry and program director, together with Artur Nigaryan, lecturer at the Chair of Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry, YSU Faculty of Chemistry, visited the University of Sharjah. The visit aimed to explore potential avenues for future collaboration and joint scientific projects.
During their stay, working meetings were held at the Department of Environmental Health Sciences, College of Health Sciences, as well as with the project partner, Professor Ioannis Savvaidis. The discussions focused on the progress, outcomes, and strategic directions of the research project "Extracts of Armenian Grape Skins as pH Indicators".
The meetings also included discussions with Department Chair Khaled Abass on opportunities to initiate new joint research and expand institutional cooperation between the YSU Faculty of Chemistry and the University of Sharjah's Department of Environmental Health Sciences.
As part of the visit, Hayk Petrosyan delivered lectures and conducted seminars for students, fostering academic exchange and promoting professional discussions involving young researchers.
In addition, the delegation toured the university's research laboratories, gaining an overview of the available technical and research infrastructure.
