Admission Procedure
Admission to the Master's degree program "International Relations and Diplomacy" is carried out in two stages. In the first stage, the admission competition for the tuition-free places and the self-funded places is open to graduates of the last three academic years (the calculation of academic years begins with the current academic year) of the Bachelor's degree program "International Relations" from both full-time and half-time learning programs, according to their final attestation grade and the grade point average (GPA) recorded in the diploma supplement.
Admission in the first stage is carried out without an entrance exam, on a competitive basis, taking into account the attestation score and the GPA performance. The competitive stage is passed by those applicants whose GPA is at least 14 points. In case of equal GPA (for tuition-free places), the following additional criteria are taken into account:
a) The presence of a diploma with honors,
b) The results of the final attestation.
The second stage of admission is based on the results of the entrance examination. Graduates of YSU and other state, non-state higher education institutions (full-time and distance learning) with a bachelor's, master's or diploma specialist qualification that have passed institutional accreditation can participate in the admission competition of this stage.
The second stage of admission examination is conducted orally with the participation of the admissions committee.
