It is time for all of us to learn how to use AI tools, as their application significantly enhances work efficiency - Hrant Khachatryan

Hrant Khachatryan delivered a talk on this topic during the Space and Technology section of YSU Alumni Forum. According to him, AI developers create not only powerful tools but also simpler versions that are more accessible, enabling both organizations and individuals to choose the most appropriate tool for their specific needs.

He noted that there are websites specializing in comparing AI tools, where the best-performing ones are ranked. "To choose the right tool, one can visit such a website and pose the same question to two different AI systems. Then, based on the responses, decide which one is better. This essentially creates a 'duel' between AI systems, resulting in a score and a ranking of the tools from best to worst."

During his presentation, the director of YerevaNN also addressed the misconception that AI developers are the only AI users. "For example, the best users of Microsoft Excel are not the developers of Microsoft Excel. Some specialists use it extensively without being able to create it themselves."

When discussing artificial intelligence, Hrant Khachatryan outlines three distinct levels of engagement: "The first involves developing new tools, which is primarily a research-driven process. The second level centers on creating new products using existing tools, as today’s AI technologies are advanced enough to enable the development of large-scale products, bringing research results into real-world applications. And the third level comes once the products have already been created, and it is time for all of us to learn how to use these tools, as their application significantly enhances work efficiency, especially in tasks related to the digital realm.
