Artashes Khurshudyan wins prestigious award from London School of Digital Business
Artashes Khurshudyan, Director of the Distance Learning Laboratory at the YSU Faculty of Sociology, has been honored at the London School of Digital Business (LSDB) with the Valuable Contribution to the Education Industry award as part of the institution's prestigious Leadership, Excellence, Advancement, and Progress (LEAP) awards ceremony.
The Valuable Contribution to the Education Industry award is presented to individuals who, with a clear vision for the future, advance innovation in education, develop e-learning solutions and future learning models, and make a tangible impact in the global education sector through the implementation and development of innovative educational models and modern digital learning solutions.
The award recognizes not only those with professional achievements but also scholars, researchers, and inspiring educator-leaders who have made long-term contributions to education and brought meaningful change to teaching.
This year's competition, held on November 6 in the United Arab Emirates, drew participants from more than seventy countries. Over 400 universities and educational institutions, along with more than 500 professionals from various sectors of education, presented their achievements, ideas, innovative teaching methods, digital projects, and contributions to the education field.
Artashes Khurshudyan, who is also the founder and CEO of Digilearn Studios, has more than two decades of experience in innovative education and e-learning. Since the early 2000s, he has been at the forefront of digital transformation in education.
Through collaboration with universities, banks, and other institutions, Khurshudyan has developed impactful digital learning programs. His expertise includes digitalization of education, distance and hybrid learning, gamified digital learning, interactive digital courses and videos, and the development and implementation of other modern innovative learning solutions.
Beyond professional accomplishments, this award represents a significant step in raising the international profile of Yerevan State University and the Republic of Armenia in the fields of innovative education and e-learning.
