How to prevent spread of fish sanguinicolosis in Armenia: joint study by YSU and ANAU scientists A parasitic disease known as fish sanguinicolosis has been recorded in Armenia for the first time. Fish samples were collected from a reservoir in Armenia's Armavir Province, where a mass fish die-off had been reported. The investigation began in 2023, and the article titled "Detection of Fish Sanguinicolosis in the Republic of Armenia" has recently been published in the Iranian Journal of Veterinary Medicine.
