The Jason program has become one of the key institutions of cultural diplomacy and academic cooperation at Aristotle University. It aims to build friendly, respectful, and scholarly ties with universities in the Black Sea region and Northeastern Europe.
As part of this collaboration, mutual visits are planned to conduct precise and comprehensive assessments of institutional needs. In addition to offering access to necessary research resources and facilities, the program also provides scholarships for learning Greek and pursuing further studies at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
Established in 1994 at the initiative of the university’s management and approved by the Senate, the Jason program aims to create and strengthen centers of Greek Studies at partner institutions. The program is administratively coordinated by the Faculty of Philosophy at Aristotle University.
