On December 11, 2025, at 10:30 a.m., the YSU Faculty of History will host an international two-day conference titled "Theoretical and Methodological Issues of Teaching History". The conference will address a wide range of theoretical and methodological issues related to teaching in higher education, particularly within the disciplines of history and the humanities.

On December 12, 2025, at 1:30 p.m., YSU Faculty of Geography and Geology will host Professor Noriaki Nishiyama from the Center for Applied Tourism Studies at Hokkaido University to deliver a lecture on the topic "Sustainable Preservation of Community-Based Heritage and Tourism Development".

On December 10, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., in the courtroom of the YSU Faculty of Law, the annual scientific session of the Faculty of Law's academic staff, PhD students and candidates will be launched.

On December 9, 2025, at 2:30 p.m., the YSU Sarkis and Marie Izmirlian Library will host a meeting with Armenian writer Mark Aren.

From December 8 to 9, 2025, in the YSU Academic Council Session Hall, an international conference titled "Genocide: Memory, Recognition, Prevention" will be held under the initiative of the Institute for Armenian Studies and the Center for Human Rights and Genocide Studies NGO.

On December 9, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., the YSU Faculty of Oriental Studies will host the presentation of the textbook "Azerbaijani Language (Military-Political and Diplomatic Fields)".

On November 28 and December 8, 2025, at 3:00 p.m., an online seminar titled "Family-Friendly Policies, Gender Equality, and the Labor Market: International Approaches" will be organized at the initiative of the YSU Center for Demographic Research and the UN Population Fund.

On December 5, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., the YSU Faculty of History will host a presentation of project works by approximately 40 students from Yerevan high schools.

On December 5, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., the YSU Faculty of Chemistry will host the opening ceremony of the Spectroscopy and Chromatography Laboratory.

On December 5, 2025, at 12:30 p.m., at the YSU Institute of Pharmacy a solemn ceremony will be held to present a certificate of appreciation to Associate Professor Samvel Vardapetyan, PhD in Chemistry, from the Chair of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmacognosy, PhD in Chemistry, Samvel Vardapetyan.
