Associate Professor Kima Petrosyan, PhD in Chemical Sciences, from the Chair of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmacognosy at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Yerevan State University (YSU), was awarded YSU Silver Medal.

In recognition of her years of dedication, outstanding scientific and educational contributions, and significant role in training young specialists, Yerevan State University awarded Kima Petrosyan the Silver Medal.
The award ceremony, held in conjunction with the celebration of the scientist’s 70th birthday, took place at YSU Faculty of Pharmacy.
In her congratulatory speech, YSU Academic Secretary Meri Hovhannisyan emphasized Kima Petrosyan’s exceptional contribution to the establishment and development of university education.
Kima Petrosyan has been imparting her knowledge and expertise to future professionals for over four decades. Her scientific interests include theoretical organic chemistry and toxicological chemistry, a subject she has been teaching at the Faculty of Pharmacy for many years. The scholar is distinguished by her high teaching standards, profound professional knowledge, and attentive approach to students’ individual progress.

Throughout the decades, Associate Professor Petrosyan has proven herself not only as an experienced scientist and knowledgeable lecturer but also as an honest, dedicated, and modest colleague, earning a well-deserved reputation within the academic environment of Yerevan State University.
The event was attended by representatives of the institute’s academic staff and students.
