The National Pharmaceutical Championship, organized on November 8 by the Vahe Meliksetyan Foundation, brought together more than 20 participating teams, including students and graduates of the YSU Institute of Pharmacy.
Teams that included representatives of the Institute of Pharmacy took first and third place, underscoring once again the high quality and practical relevance of professional education at YSU.
The team ClinChoice, which won first place, included Institute of Pharmacy graduates Mariam Hovhannisyan and Heghine Ohanjanyan. The third-place team VIVA was represented by Institute of Pharmacy graduates and students Meri Matevosyan, Elena Yeganyan (4th-year bachelor's student), and Mariam Margaryan (1st-year master's student).
The jury of the championship also included Associate Professor Anna Mkrtchyan, Director of the Institute of Pharmacy. The winning team received a prize of 1,000,000 AMD, while the other winners were awarded gifts provided by partner organizations.
The initiative launched by the Vahe Meliksetyan Foundation aimed at developing the field is an important contribution to uniting the professional community and supporting the growth of the new generation.
The mission of the Vahe Meliksetyan Foundation is the advancement of clinical pharmacy in the Republic of Armenia. The foundation aims to develop the field by organizing national and international events, supporting the training of specialists, providing financial assistance to students, and promoting the adaptation of clinical pharmacy as an independent branch of science.
