The YSU European Studies Center has launched the HELP online course Refugee and Migrant Children, adapted to Armenia's national context, in cooperation with the Council of Europe.
The course aims to deepen participants' understanding of the rights of refugee and migrant children, legal procedures tailored to their needs, and social inclusion.
The curriculum covers the fundamentals of the legal framework, child-friendly procedures, alternatives to detention, family reunification, social rights and integration, guardianship, and age assessment.
Representatives of the Migration and Citizenship Service are participating in the eight-week course, which requires two hours of study per week.
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be invited to a workshop and awarded certificates.
The initiative aims to strengthen professional capacity in migration and deepen understanding of effective mechanisms for protecting the rights of refugee and migrant children.
