Within the framework of cooperation between YSU's "Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence in European Studies: Democracy, Human Rights, and Security" (DeHuRiS101177115) project and Konrad Adenauer Foundation, a training program titled "EU Principles in the Context of EU-Armenia Cooperation" was held for civil servants on December 11–12 of this year.
During the two-day course, participants examined fundamental issues concerning the partnership between Armenia and the European Union, as well as the legal and structural framework of the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA), which holds strategic significance.
Key topics of the training also included reforms in the fields of justice, human rights, governance, and economic development, as part of Armenia's commitments within the framework of the Eastern Partnership. The program presented mechanisms for more effective decision-making in the public administration system, as well as foreign policy actions aimed at deepening cooperation between the parties and ensuring more efficient implementation of obligations.
The training was attended by employees from 17 state bodies. Similar events dedicated to issues of EU-Armenia cooperation are planned to continue in 2026.
