The YSU Faculty of History held an event marking the start of the new academic year, attended by first-year students enrolled in bachelor's and master's degree programs.
On the occasion of Knowledge and Schooling Day, Mkhitar Gabrielyan, Dean of the Faculty of History, PhD in History and Associate Professor, congratulated the students and welcomed them to the faculty. In his remarks, the dean emphasized the importance of acquiring professional knowledge and skills, highlighting the significant role of the History Faculty in the development of the state and society.
He wished the first-year students productive studies, professional growth and active involvement in university life, assuring them that the faculty was ready to support them at every stage of their academic and professional journey.
First-year students also addressed the event. They stated that one of their key goals during their studies was to acquire professional knowledge with a strong sense of responsibility and dedication and to apply it for the advancement of the state and society.
The first-year students were introduced to the academic programs, the main principles of study, the organization of the educational process, as well as the opportunities offered by the faculty and ways to become involved in university life.
The event was also attended by heads of chairs, educational program directors, members of the academic staff and employees of the faculty office.
