Identity Crises and Strategies of Renewal: Global and Local Experiences (From Hellenism to Early Modernity)
On February 20, 2027, the Faculty of History will host a conference titled "Identity Crises and Strategies of Renewal: Global and Local Experiences (From Hellenism to Early Modernity)." The conference is being organized at the initiative of the YSU research team "National and Global Dimensions of History: The Armenian Experience."
The conference is dedicated to the study of transitional societies, identity crises and strategies for overcoming them. It aims to establish an interdisciplinary platform where theoretical approaches and historical experiences will be synthesized to explore the processes of identity formation, disruption, and transformation.
Theoretical and Methodological Issues of Teaching History
On December 11-12, 2025, an international conference titled "Theoretical and Methodological Issues of Teaching History" will be held at the initiative of the YSU Faculty of History.
The conference will address theoretical and methodological issues related to teaching in higher education, as well as the teaching of history and various humanities disciplines.
