The Faculty of History hosted a public presentation of student projects from the research school of the "Mkhitar Sebastatsi" Educational Complex. The event was organized as part of the collaboration between the Faculty of History and the educational complex to promote the advancement of science and education.
On May 7, the students presented their projects on the topics "Christianity and Wars" and "The Driving Forces of History: Revolution and Evolution."
The research project on "Christianity and Wars" explored the impact of Christianity on the religious wars that occurred in European history. The student sought to understand whether religion served as a direct cause of these wars, or whether it was used as a tool to advance geopolitical interests. The analysis combined the study of historical events with an evaluation of the influence of religious dogmas.

In the project on "The Driving Forces of History: Revolution and Evolution", the student analyzed the course and nature of historical changes, conducting a comparative examination of the roles of revolution and evolution. The student attempted to understand and demonstrate the impact of these two phenomena on societal transformations, applying both historical comparison and analytical methods.
The student projects were reviewed by members of the Student Scientific Society (SSS) of YSU Faculty of History, which is an important milestone for students’ future research work.
This initiative combines the strengths of both secondary and higher education systems, fostering knowledge exchange and encouraging scientific activity among students.
