On the initiative of the Faculty of History at Yerevan State University, a two-day seminar on "Implementation of Modern, Interactive, and Technologically Enhanced Teaching, Learning, and Assessment Methods" was held on November 29–30 at YSU's Tsaghkadzor Training and Production Base. The event brought together faculty members and postgraduate students of the Faculty of History. The seminar was conducted by YSU lecturer and education expert Serob Khachatryan.
On the first day, participants discussed the challenges of teaching in the era of education and artificial intelligence. They became acquainted with both traditional and interactive lecture approaches, developed interactive teaching skills, explored types of questions and methods for their improvement, and learned about the potential uses of the digital tool Mentimeter.
The second day focused on case studies and simulation methods, practical applications of the Six Thinking Hats technique, and the use of digital tools such as Padlet, PollEverywhere, and Tricision in teaching.
The digital tools and interactive methods studied represent an important step toward integrating technological developments into the field of education and supporting the continuous professional development of the faculty.
The Faculty of History plans to continue organizing similar seminars in the future, creating new opportunities to enhance the quality of education and provide students with a more engaging learning environment.
