Representatives of the teaching staff of the YSU Faculty of Economics and Management took part in the "Cultural Heritage Tour" program organized by the YSU Trade Union, combining their work routine with new cultural and historical discoveries.
Participants included Karlen Khachatryan, Dean of the Faculty, Ruben Serobyan, President of the YSU Trade Union, and Edgar Chakhoyan, Vice President of the Trade Union.
During the one-day tour, participants had an opportunity to explore the historical, cultural and natural heritage of Vayots Dzor. They visited the Paruyr Sevak House-Museum in Zangakatun, Areni-1 Cave (Bird's Cave), where the world's oldest leather shoe, dating back 5,500 years, was discovered, and Noravank (Amaghu Noravank).
As part of the program, participants also visited Matevosyan Winery in Aghavnadzor, where they learned about Armenian winemaking traditions and took part in a wine tasting. The tour provided an opportunity not only to explore the historical and cultural heritage of Vayots Dzor, but also to spend an enjoyable and eventful day together, filled with new impressions, engaging conversations and wonderful memories.
