Vardan Aleksanyan, Head of the Office and Deputy Dean of YSU Faculty of Economics and Management, and Gnel Sahakyan, Acting Head of the Chair of Financial Accounting, departed for Porto, Portugal, from June 9 to 13, 2025, on a business trip within the framework of the Erasmus+ mobility program. The purpose of the visit was to strengthen international relations and exchange experience by participating in an international program organized by the ISAG-European Business School.

The event brought together participants from more than 25 countries, providing a valuable platform for establishing professional connections and deepening collaboration.
YSU representatives attended a series of lectures, seminars, and interactive discussions on contemporary topics ranging from the application of artificial intelligence to corporate governance and strategic leadership models.
During the visit, discussions were held with representatives of partner universities regarding the expansion of bilateral cooperation and the potential signing of memoranda of understanding. Vardan Aleksanyan and Gnel Sahakyan presented the scientific and educational capacities of the faculty, as well as ongoing international programs and initiatives.
The visit also provided an exceptional opportunity to invite foreign partners to the international conference titled "Transforming Economy: Development of Human Capital, Creative and Innovative Economy, Sustainable Inclusive Growth," which will be organized by YSU Faculty of Economics and Management in Yerevan from October 8 to 10, 2025. This conference has already generated considerable interest among several partner universities.

The visit concluded by underscoring the professional achievements attained and new prospects for cooperation. Notably, proposals for collaboration have already been received from partner universities in Bulgaria and Spain, and arrangements are currently underway to formalize the cooperation through memoranda or agreements with YSU.
YSU Faculty of Economics and Management continues to broaden the scope of its international cooperation by actively strengthening academic and scientific ties with prominent universities and organizations worldwide.
