Faculty members from YSU Faculty of Economics and Management, led by Dean Karlen Khachatryan, visit several cultural heritage sites organized by YSU Trade Union Organization. The Vice President of the Trade Union, Edgar Chakhoyan, also took part in the tour.
During the one-day trip, participants had the opportunity to explore Armenia’s rich cultural and historical heritage. They visited several of Ashtarak’s historic churches (dating from the 4th to the 13th centuries) and explored the national legacy preserved at the Perch Proshyan House-Museum. The group also visited the 7th-century architectural monument — the unique St. Hovhannes Church in the village of Voskevaz.
The program also included a visit to the Voskevaz Wine Factory, where participants were introduced to Armenia’s centuries-old winemaking traditions and took part in a wine tasting.
